Custom software developed for point of sale devices with integrations for QR code scanning, payment devices and printer

We've developed a flutter application that tightly integrates with the Sunmi V2S point of sale devices for the Arranmore and Tory ferries. The devices are able to connect to Stripe card readers and connect over Wifi to the rest of the respective ferry's platform to share information with the crew on board and in the offices.

The app's most prominent features are:

• Stripe reader integration. The app is fully compatiable with all Stripe card readers available in Ireland
• Printer Integration. The Sunmi V2S comes with a thermal printer built into the device. The app is able to generate tickets for customers instantly connected with the Arranmore Ferry platform.
• QR Code integration. The devices are equipped with cameras which are used by the team to scan and mark tickets as redeemed.
• Instant timetable and ticket information from the Arranmore Ferry platform.

The app is shipped an updated automatically using shorebird.dev and is used daily by both teams on the Arranmore Ferry and Tory Ferry.
